Pharmacy295 hired Quintessential’s Design team to redesign its e-pharmacy platform. The project leveraged market research and modern UX trends, leading to significant business growth and improved conversion rates in the first month.
Pharmacy295, the award-winning online pharmacy, has been an industry leader for 12+ years. With 5 physical stores in Attica, it has processed over 1.6 million orders and has 450,000 registered customers, averaging more than 300,000 sessions monthly.
Quintessential was tasked with redesigning the e-shop with a mobile-first approach, designing for product variety and checkout seamlessness for a better online experience.
The new homepage features a simple design, supported by featured products & categories, smart deals, people needs and tutorial videos that highlight product display and application. This is a balance between marketing content, user requirements, product options, and brand image, resulting in a clear and engaging user experience.
Pharmacy295’s product and category pages utilize tailored templates for 12,000 items. Each category features unique iconography alongside a variety of different dynamic product features respectively.
A multi-layered filtering system enhances navigation by brand and attributes.
The streamlined checkout process, including BoxNow Lockers for shipping, significantly boosted conversions, achieving 24% of shipping volume in the first month.
To validate qualitative and quantitative improvements, such as time to first click, average cart duration, and checkout completion, AI was used to analyze visitor behavior. A machine learning model simulating typical online consumer behavior helped refine sections, CTAs, and messages, directly influencing conversion rates.
A.I tool: Attention Insight – Visual Heatmaps
We conducted usability testing in the staging environment with over 80 testers using the Useberry tool. This process identified multiple UX and Development issues in both user experience and platform components. Insights from 40+ user screen recordings led to valuable iterations (eg: enhanced Search), improving responsive design and category menu displays.
